The land between two hills

After relocating to Gozo for a month, the artist, set out on a project to discover a connection to the Island. After documenting several locations through sketches and drawings, he went back to the area where he was residing and from there a strong bond with a piece of rural land was born. This body of work explores and expresses this land as sacred ground. The natural landscape is artificially reconfigured through painting on three wood panels.
